For smaller rooms, small square conference tables, or personal use, the SoundStation2, SoundStation2 W/Display, and Soundstation2 Wireless are excellent choices, and will pick up voices from as much as 10ft away.
For medium-to-large rooms, bigger tables, or just more people, you are going to need a system that will cover a big area. The Polycom SoundStation2 and Polycom Soundstation2 Wireless with external microphones bundled are excellent choices for picking up speech from as much as 17ft away from the phone unit. Also, the VTX 1000 has a range of up to 26ft for large rooms or up to 15-20 people.
