Toshiba PPTC-9 is used to connect a 9-pin PC Com port to the RS-232, SMDI or SMDR, or TTY maintenance port on the WSIU, TSIU, BSIS, RSSU. RSIU, RSIS, PIOU or PIOUS card. The PPTC-9 is also what is used to administer the GVMU, LVMU and GVPH voicemails. The PPTC-9 goes on your PC's com-port and a 6 conductor base cord is used to go between the adapter and the RJ11 on the voicemail.
